Pastoral Care
Under the competent and compassionate Marg Carman, our Pastoral Associate, we at St Thomas endeavour to provide a variety of Pastoral Care activities:
Holy Communion to people house bound.
Holy Communion to people in hospital.
Holy Communion to people in aged care facilities.
Transport to and from Mass.
Maintaining our Prayer Roster.
Visiting and praying with those in Palliative Care at Bethesda Hospital.
Ensuring meals and child care for families crises.
Also St Thomas has a very active St Vincent de Paul Group under the direction of Louise Frizza.

Jesus, holy and beloved,
hold me always in your
‘yes’. Give me your trust in
our Loving Father when I,
too, am swamped in
darkness and pain. Give
me your strength to love
God with all my heart,
soul, life, and to love my
neighbour as myself.
Empty me of pride, power
and self-deceit and fill me
with humility, openness,
honesty. Thus, dear
Jesus, within this gift of
my life, make me like you,
holy and beloved and
living a life of ‘yes’, to
your Father and my
Father. Amen.
