Please note that Sacraments are received in this order: Reconciliation (Year 3), First Communion (Year 4), Confirmation (Year 6). We urgently require more people to volunteer to become readers, commentators and special ministers at the 6.30pm Mass on Sunday night. If people do not volunteer, we will have to evaluate whether this Mass continues in the parish. Please phone the parish office or see Fr Wayne after Mass. This is urgent, so please think seriously about it. Thanks. Fr Wayne
We take this opportunity to welcome all new parish members. We hope that you find St Thomas the Apostle a friendly parish community. Please join us after the 7.30am and 9.30am Masses for a ‘cuppa’ in the parish centre. Say hello to Father, meet some new/old friends, sit down and have a chat. Please become part of the family of St Thomas the Apostle. See you there!
Marriages by appointment: 6 months’ notice required. *Baptisms: 10.00am each Saturday, except for the 3rd weekend of the month when Baptisms are held during the 9.30am Mass on Sunday. Contact Rossana (Parish Office) for more details. PLEASE NOTE: The Catholic Church requires that baptismal godparents have been baptised in the Catholic faith as they are required to make a promise that they believe in God. People who belong to other Christian faiths can also be godparents, but one must be Catholic.

We are looking for parishioners to volunteer for some Church ministries.. We need more readers, special ministers, acolytes [men only—sorry ladies], morning tea organisers, people to go on the flower roster, and Parents to help with children’s liturgy. Please help us and volunteer. These ministries are very important to the life of the parish. If you can help out, please phone Rossana in the parish office, or see Fr Wayne after Mass.
NEW PARISHIONERS, and those not so new, please complete the Census Cards which are available in the back of the Church (one for each member of your family) and hand the completed cards to Fr Wayne or one of the acolytes after Mass. Please be assured that ALL INFORMATION WHICH YOU SUPPLY IS STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL AND FOR PARISH USE ONLY in accordance with the Privacy Act of Australia 1997.
Any parishioners wishing to contribute to planned giving via the Direct Debit system, are requested to fill in a direct debit form which is available at the back of the Church. Please forward the completed form on to Rossana at the Parish Office for processing.
