St Thomas Parish Catechism Program – Catechists Arise!!
We run a Sacramental Program for children in the parish who do not attend Catholic schools.
The programs run during Term time and usually last 8 – 10 weeks.
The Parish needs more Catechists!
I have been a Catechist for 20 years and learn so much from the students: it is a rewarding and faith-enriching experience. If you are interested in this ministry – even if you have no training – please contact me, Silvia Kinder on 0429 065 842.
Jesus, holy and beloved,
hold me always in your
‘yes’. Give me your trust in
our Loving Father when I,
too, am swamped in
darkness and pain. Give
me your strength to love
God with all my heart,
soul, life, and to love my
neighbour as myself.
Empty me of pride, power
and self-deceit and fill me
with humility, openness,
honesty. Thus, dear
Jesus, within this gift of
my life, make me like you,
holy and beloved and
living a life of ‘yes’, to
your Father and my
Father. Amen.
